Aim & Scope

The Open Access Journal of Neurology and Psychology: Research & Reports is dedicated to publishing research that furthers the understanding of neurological and psychological conditions. Our aim is to contribute to the scientific knowledge base, clinical practices, and treatment protocols that impact millions of lives globally. The journal focuses on a range of topics, including, but not limited to:

  • Neurological Disorders:
Our journal is committed to publishing research on various neurological conditions, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative disorders. We explore novel findings in early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
  • Mental Health Disorders:
With increasing awareness of mental health issues worldwide, our journal includes research on disorders like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and substance abuse. The journal features research on both the biological and psychological aspects of these conditions.
  • Cognitive Neuroscience:
We encourage submissions that explore the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive processes, such as memory, learning, attention, and decision-making. Neuroimaging studies, brain mapping, and advances in understanding brain plasticity are also key areas of interest.
  • Neuropsychology:
Research related to the interactions between neurological conditions and cognitive functioning, as well as clinical neuropsychology practices, is at the heart of the journal. We publish studies that examine neuropsychological assessments, diagnosis, and rehabilitation strategies for cognitive impairments.
  • Psychiatric and Psychological Interventions:
Articles focusing on therapeutic interventions for mental health and neurological conditions, including pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emerging treatment modalities, are welcome.
  • Clinical Research:
We value clinical studies that investigate the efficacy of treatment options for neurological and psychological conditions. Research on novel pharmaceutical agents, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary therapeutic approaches are regularly featured.
  • Neuropsychological Assessment & Diagnostics:
Studies that develop or refine diagnostic tools, assessments, and evaluations for neurological and psychological disorders are a major focus of this journal. We seek research that contributes to improving clinical diagnostics and patient outcomes.

We also welcome submission of special issues focusing on specific topics, such as neuroethics, pediatric neurology, psychiatric disorders in elderly populations, or emerging neurological diseases.
