Aim & Scope

The OPENPUB Journal of Cardiology Research seeks to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that address the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine. We focus on both basic science and clinical research that can contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart diseases.

Key areas of interest for publication include:

  • Cardiovascular Disease Mechanisms: Mechanisms of disease progression in coronary artery disease, hypertension, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and other cardiovascular conditions.
  • Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias: Research on the electrical activity of the heart, including the pathophysiology of arrhythmias and novel treatments.
  • Cardiac Surgery and Interventional Procedures: Cutting-edge studies on coronary bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, and catheter-based interventions.
  • Cardiovascular Pharmacology: Insights into new pharmacotherapies, including antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, and heart failure medications.
  • Preventive Cardiology: Research on prevention strategies, lifestyle interventions, and public health measures to reduce cardiovascular disease incidence.
  • Cardiac Imaging and Diagnostics: Advances in diagnostic imaging technologies, such as echocardiography, MRI, CT, and nuclear imaging for cardiovascular health.
  • Cardiovascular Genetics and Genomics: Genetic studies exploring the molecular basis of cardiovascular diseases and identifying genetic markers for early detection.
  • Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy: Understanding the mechanisms of heart failure and other cardiomyopathies, and exploring new therapeutic approaches.

The journal encourages submissions that are interdisciplinary and translational, bringing novel findings from basic research directly into clinical settings.
