Author Guidelines

Submission Instructions: Authors wishing to submit their work to the Global Journal of Agriculture, Earth & Environmental Science must ensure that their manuscript adheres to the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not follow these guidelines may be returned for revisions before the peer-review process begins.

Manuscript Formatting:

  • General Guidelines: All manuscripts should be written in English, using clear and concise academic language. The text should be formatted in a standard font (such as Times New Roman), size 12 pt, and double-spaced. Pages should be numbered consecutively.
  • Title: The title should clearly indicate the content and scope of the article, using key terms that accurately describe the subject matter.
  • Abstract: The abstract should summarize the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study in no more than 250 words. Keywords (5-7) should be included at the end of the abstract.
  • Figures and Tables: All figures and tables should be numbered and cited in the text. Ensure that all visual elements are of high resolution and provide clear captions. Tables should be formatted to fit within the page layout and avoid excessive use of colors.
  • References: References should be formatted according to the APA style. Please ensure that all references cited in the manuscript appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

Types of Articles:

  • Original Research Articles: These should report on new scientific findings and contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of agriculture, earth sciences, and environmental sustainability.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews that summarize and evaluate existing research in a particular area of agriculture or environmental science. These articles should provide a critical analysis and identify research gaps.
  • Case Studies: Detailed reports on specific instances of agricultural, environmental, or earth science challenges and solutions. Case studies should highlight real-world applications of research findings.

Peer Review Process: Once a manuscript is submitted, it will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The manuscript will be evaluated by at least two independent experts in the field who will assess its quality, relevance, and scientific contribution. Authors will be required to make revisions based on reviewer feedback before final acceptance.

Article Processing Charges (APC): There are Article Processing Charges (APC) for all accepted articles, which help cover the costs of the publication process, including peer review, editing, and hosting the article online as open access. Authors will be provided with detailed information on APC fees upon acceptance of their manuscript.
